It is a recurring tactic for Zionists to invoke incidents of antisemitism that were caused by them riding on the name of Jews, and then present it as “organic antisemitism,” as if it is not a backlash to their misrepresentation, which makes Jews vulnerable targets. Violence is never warranted, but we cannot subject our reality to the picture Zionists are hellbent on portraying.
The reality stands in contrast to these claims. British Jews live in harmony with their Muslim neighbors. In a letter sent today to 10 Downing Street, the UK’s leading Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations denounced the small number of agitators who allege that Jews and Muslims have an inherent coexistence issue, affirming once again the longstanding peaceful relationships enjoyed within their communities.
Jews, Muslims, and Christians across the United Kingdom and elsewhere continue to coexist peacefully, grounded in mutual respect and shared civic life.
We reject efforts to exploit this incident, spread fear, and weaponize antisemitism for political ends.
